The Rutherford Chamber of Commerce was incorporated in 1927 as a non-profit organization for the purpose of promoting commercial, retail, industrial and civic activities for the economic and community development of the Rutherford Community. The Mission of the Rutherford Chamber of Commerce is to improve and enhance the economic vitality and the quality of life for the total community and area. In pursuing its mission, the Rutherford Chamber of Commerce will do the following: •Be Sensitive and responsive to the needs of business and community •Encourage broad community involvement in pursuing community goals •Develop, promote and provide leadership. •Provide services for the membership and community. •Present views of the business community. The chamber will accomplish its mission through the leadership and guidance of the leadership of the Board of Directors, Officers, Committee Chairs and Staff.
