The 2nd Annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, organized by the Rutherford Irish American Association will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2019 @ 1pm. The parade steps off on the corner of Woodland Avenue & Park Avenue and continues down Park Avenue to Ames Avenue.
Literary Character Contest
The Friends of the Library of Rutherford is holding its annual Literary Character Contest on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from noon-3:00pm, at the Rutherford Public Library. This contest is open to all ages. Participants are encouraged to create their own costumes and perform or read a short selection representing a character from or an author of a literary work. There will be three prizes awarded: Most Creative, Best Depiction, and People’s Choice (at $1 per vote).
School Facilities Forum
All are invited to attend a Rutherford Public Schools – School Facilities Forum to be held in the Rutherford High School Auditorium on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 7pm. Following a brief presentation by Superintendent Hurley, the community will be able to voice their thoughts regarding addressing identified facility needs.
